Your idea of showing for each question the name of any Quiz(zes) where it is actually being used is excellent. Have you submitted your idea as New Feature in the bug tracker?

This is great, Tim. I've just tested it with 1.8beta and it works fine (with English and French lang. files).
However, is this system not going to make things more complicated for translators who maintain the language packs? Also, in Admin / Language editing, it is only possible to edit (or find missing strings) for those files which are located in their "normal" place, i.e. the moodle/lang or moodledata/lang folders. Maybe admin/lang.php should be modified to look for language files anywhere in a moodle installation not just in those 2 expected places?
