Hi everyone,

I've been away from Moodle for 1 1/2 years and am rusty. I'm looking to support students who want to question their stressful thoughts - to do inquiry. I'm looking for an activity that would:
1) Prompt a student to respond to questions on a worksheet that will be used over and over.
2) Show all their responses on one screen.
3) Allow me to post a question / reply to their worksheet to prompt them to deeper questions.

Ideally it would look like this:
WORKSHEET
Situation: (student answer)
Time: (student answer)
Location: (student answer)

1. Question text

I am [emotion] with [NAME] because [essay answer] The NAME will be used in questions 5-10 as part of the student's answer.

(example answers to guide student)

2. Question text

I want (name from #4) Name __________________ (student answer)

(example answers)

Worksheet has 6 questions.

Does anyone have suggestions on this? It would be a form of sorts but then would display the form for the student and me. Then it would be great if I could reply to the form with additional suggestions for the questions the student could consider. Thanks for any pointers!

Blackboard has a great way for students to track posts across a course and see who has replied to them. Currently in Moodle I don't see any way to offer this. Students tell us often that they get confused about where to check back on their post - we have at least one forum per weekly section - and since there is no separate reply (they all get included in the digest) to your post often you miss them.

Here's what Blackboard offers:

Stay in the conversation -- the Posts tool in My Blackboard consolidates posts from all the collaborative tools (Discussion Boards, Wikis, Blogs, and Journals) from all your Courses and Organizations, so you can easily view them in one stream. Here's a site with picture details:

Is there any way to recreate something like this in Moodle?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to set a group size limit for the Group Choice Module (mod_choicegroup) which allows students to self select into a group. It lets me select the groups but then I can't change the zero. I've got the groups in a grouping. Can't figure out what's wrong. Can anyone help?

Here's the screenshot:

Hi everyone,

I've set up an assignment with these settings for feedback: http://screencast.com/t/aJtnxyaOaA

I downloaded the grading worksheet, added feedback and then uploaded the sheet and saved quick grading changes. No one got email notifications about the feedback. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Thank you,

Bonnie
