I am afraid not, that is why I mentioned it wont install as a plug-in that can integrate fully into moodle, but messaging app on moodle site only.

why not give a try to WidgetWhats.
it wont install as a plug-in into moodle but will give functionality of integrating WhatsApp on your moodle.
Irith, first and most important, please DO NOT install moodle via any script installer, unless you are giving a test run to or to see if your hosting can run moodle. It will look like installed, but will bring loads of troubles in future specially when installing plug-ins.
Now coming to your issue, likely it'll be PHP version that you'll be using, differs than the moodle required.
Moodle has capabilities, that udemy or ANY other platform (Now that's a bold statement) wont be able to offer, in years to come.
Out of 3000 users, lets say concurrent would be 1500 (means fetching something at same time from database) which I would expect from a 30,000 user site to reach this much concurrency, but, for the sake of satisfaction of enough hardware resources that even all 3000 would be online at same time, you still wont be needing a load balancer for this setup. An Octa core CPU with 64GB Ram would be sufficient.
I couldn't understand the need of setting up two sites, technically its possible but will complicate the setup resulting in data corruption.
