The cute little orange house wasn't actually laid out that well (little separate rooms), and we had no room to expand (both companies, moodle.com and moodle.com.au, are taking on new employees).

The new place keeps the two companies more separate, while each company has a more open space to work with. Darlene, Michael, Yu and myself (Nicolas moved to France) are all in the same room now, with room for several more (still trying to find new programmers in Perth!). No, they won't let us paint the front, as we share the building with two other companies, but that's OK. We painted the inside.

You can see our reception on http://moodle.com/hq (note the sign from the old place). I'll post more once we get things more organised inside. We even have a nice kitchen and a warehouse area out the back with a roller door, perfect for jams or a table tennis table.

I can still walk, because the family and I have also moved, from the apartment to a real house with a garden for the kids, only two blocks away from work. Thanks to Moodle, I'm now the proud owner of a mortgage.

Yes absolutely. Otherwise we'll get something terrible developed which is unusable for Moodle in general. At this point I'm pretty much convinced this is what's going to happen, since we haven't heard a peep out of these students in a year.

I really WANT to replace the current wiki ... unfortunately after Eloy, Helen and myself reviewed nwiki recently we found too many issues still remaining. Overall it's still slightly better to live with the devil we know.

The fact is that we (Moodle HQ) have limited resources and not enough time to fix those issues in nWiki in time for 1.9, so it's up to Ludo's team.
