I'm doing a research on e-learning software and I'm interested into exploring moodle. I started installing it, and followed all the steps. But I faced a problem when reaching the web based setup, each time i use the link provided in your installation steps (Visit http://localhost/moodle/admin/) the file config.php gets edited and give me a lot of errors especially in lines where containing ("). I took them all off and at the end another error in the last line (?>) it says unexpected $end and now it does not display any thing please help?
By the way, the moodle folder is located inside the directory easyphp1-7\\www. find attached a copy of the config.php file. And I'm installing it locally on my PC so no server package is involved. I'm using windows 2000 and internet explorer 6.0.
