Feedback permissions - bug or wrongly configured?

Feedback permissions - bug or wrongly configured?

Hi,

I've set up a feedback in 1.9 on the front page. The default role on the front page is 'student' and teachers are all given the 'course creator' role via LDAP.

I want the feedback to only be available to staff, so I have gone to 'role overrides' and have set 'view feedback' and complete feedback' for students and authenticated users to 'prohibit'. Now, when I log in as a student, I have no problem viewing the feedback questions, but I was expecting a permissions error.

Am I doing this right, or is there an issue with the permissions code in the feedback module?

fixed it. All course creators had the permission to alter feedbacks by default so I used a role override to prevent them from doing anything but view and complete

Hi Matt,

thank you for your post.
In the feedback for 1.9/2.0 it will be the default setting.
