I believe the gradebook letter grade scale is based on 100%. So the instructor would need to figure what the cutoff point is for an A, B, C, etc. - regardless of the total number of points. For example, 94-100 is an A, 90-93 is A-, 84-89 is B, etc.
Can anyone else confirm?
