Hi Lisa,

You might want to contact Moodlerooms.com. They are our moodle hoster and have done some training (and are going to do more) for us, and we have been very pleased. I was just talking to the server guy (Tom) on Friday and he mentioned they were doing some big project at a university in Louisiana, so maybe you could piggyback on that somehow ... avoid some travel expenses possibly? Worth asking, anyway.

Good luck! Let me know if you would like any other details.
best,
Marcia

Hi Lisa,

We have core Moodle developers on staff and would be happy to take a look at your project. We have done quite a bit of development on Moodle for secondary over the past 4 years and I'd be happy to share some of these with you.

Our Director of Training has been nationally recognized by ISTE the past 3 years in a row as "Best of The Best" for her Moodle training at NECC (Philadelphia, San Diego and Atlanta), should you need training for your staff.

That would be GREAT!!  You can contact me by email pencilbo@websterpsb.org then Ill send my school phone number.

In general, we are looking at developing a school moodle site and develop extensions to enhance our current classrooms. We would also like to create a parent and teacher area.  Of course to start off, we would implement a few classes and expand from theresmile  Eventually we would like every class to have an online extension, all students to have an account, and all teachers and parents to have accounts.

We are currently revamping and adding to our school website and would like to have moodle integrated into the new site due to "premier" at the end of this school year.  Here is a link to our current site:
