The Wiki in the contrib-CVS is progressing well. The current state is still pre-beta, so you need to remove and reinstall the module because of database-scheme changes. Compared to the first release we have:
  • Fixed the edit-bug with glossaries
  • Integrated backup/restore
  • Integrated Binary-Handling
  • Made it possible to chose the default-content
  • Added a navigation and a search panel.
Mike is doing the group-integration and I do small fixes and updates.

I am looking forward releasing this module soon into beta.

Great! Is it too soon or just about time to start with the translation ?

I would recommed to wait a little bit until the basic features are implemented. The strings may change until then.

If you haven't spotted it already there are also translations to do in $ewiki_t[][], or will the Moodle plugin handle it a different way?

Do you mean the lang/(LANGUAGE)/help/wiki/initialcontent/ one ?

Let us assume that you want to have new initial content called "myLesson". You need an english version as default in lang/en/help/wiki/initialcontent/myLesson/ (or just the directory smile ). Then you can also create a local version in lang/de/help/wiki/initialcontent/myLesson/ for example. There you can fill in textfiles or export the content of an existing wiki with the tools, supplied with Erfurtwiki. The main page is called "WikiIndex".

Was this of use for you ? I am glad if I can help.
