Hi All

I am mass enrolling our students via a CSV outputted from our Unit-E database (until our MIS department stop moaning and give us access to the DB.) anyway

Is there a way to turn off en-mass the default / internal enrollment, so that no-one can enroll onto a course. The default option is grey'd out so i cannot de-select it.

Basically i dont want anyone to enrol on a course, unless;

an Admin does it, or if i do it via the flat file.

 

Is this possilbe

In Moodle 1.5.x this was done by unticking the allow_internal enrolments on the flat file import settings screen. However this has been changed in 1.6. See this thread for how to do a database update to set courses to non-enrollable.

Unfortunately there is no way to disable internal enrollments without hacking the moodle code a bit. I'm faced with the very same issue. As a matter of fact, maybe this should be posted in the bug tracker. Any takers?
