I'm trying the 1.2 dev version.
Whenever I edit a resource/posting etc. where I would expect the rtf editor to come up, I just get a simple text editor box and an error in IE(6) status bar that says 'errors on page'; when I go into the help, it says 'editor available', and html editor is allowed in the admin configure variables page.

on a machine with script debugging enables
line 230 of ...moodle/lib/editor/HTMLarea.php
object HTMLarea.I18N.tooltips is null or not found;
AND works just fine with Mozilla Firebird!!!
The saga continues - the html editor for the moodle.org site works fine on our netowork, with IE6 (using it for this message), yet does not work on our installation!!
