Our College Dean would like to get faculty to use Moodle to record and track Attendance in regular classes. In order to do so, however, we need to automate the process of creating each session's attendance placeholder in numerous courses. Is it feasible to gather the needed information for each course from our course record system (Jenzabar) and then automatically create an Attendance assignment for each day and time? Any ideas as to how that might be done?
We would pull starting date, number of days, and hours and then use a script to create the Attendance assignments for each instance in each course.
