Has anyone used a virtual pen to comment on papers? I would think this would be useful for the assignment upload and return.
I seem to recall seeing some screenshots for someone testing this a while back.

I use an application called Markin (http://www.cict.co.uk/software/markin/index.htm) in conjunction with a virtual pen (if a pen in a Tablet PC is what you mean) and it works like a charm. Markin is not designed especially for virtual pens but with a virtual pen it is much more comfortable to use. For me there is a before and after using Marking for revising assignments.

Thanks Josep, by digital pen I mean a USB graphic pen. I don't have a Tablet PC. It allows you to mark you Word docs.

Either way, the ability to edit a submitted assignment (I'm thinking "comments" in MS Word, or even "track changes") and then upload the annotated originals is a great idea. Does anyone know when this will see light? I have heard of a few hacks that have done this, but can't for the life of me remember where...
