Bad HTML format in RSS XML feed

Bad HTML format in RSS XML feed

I upgraded to v1.5.4 last month and have just setup the mail facility which works fine so SMTP service and CRON are working OK.

RSS feeds cause an error in my reader (Bloglines.com) and I've noticed that the HTML
tag in the XML
seems to be badly formed eg:

by Admin User.

Mail and digests seem to be OK but seeing if RSS feed works.

Pete (as Admin)

Compared to an example from this forum's RSS:

by matt greenwolfe.
That did it! Thanks to both of you for your help. Matt

Any ideas why my Moodle is adding extra
and
tags?

Many thanks in advance
