when saving changes to a journal entry, students get http error 404

When some of our students are makeing journal entries, and they click the "save changes" button, moodle (our server?) is returning a "Page cannot be found" message.  It's the http 404 file not found error specifically.

We are using version 2005041100 of the journal module and I'm running moodle off of IIS on Windows 2k.

Is there any steps or ideas that someone could detail to help me determine if this is a journal issue or a server issue?

This is not a rampant problem, but it's happened a handful of times, and the student loses all their work in the journal entry.  There are no timeouts on the journals.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I think it might have been related to a vdir that I had made when first setting up moodle on IIS.  It only seems to have affected journal entries.

I'll see how it goes.
