obviously you can modify your php moodle code to bypass the requirements, but I have to trust what the Moodle HQ defined as "requirements". A requirement is not a suggestion, so if you change the
xml with the requirements definitions (search on these forums how to do that, I wouldn't say more, as it's not a best practice) I expect some pieces of Moodle won't work right.
Please don't get back here with errors/problems if the requirements are not completely satisfied...
We have to start from a well-grounded point (the defined requirements for each Moodle version/release), or it will be infeasible to understand if there is a bug, or anything else.
