Hello Everyone! 

     I created a lesson and tried to put embadded quiz into the lesson. But after I created question page into the lesson activity when I had to  choose one of the question types in the selection menu there wasn't  embadded question option. There were 6 options (question types)  but not embadded quiz option. 

     Is it possible to create embadded quiz page inside the lesson?

Is it possible to embed a question in a Lesson?

Yes, absolutely.

The "Embed questions filter" allows questions from the question bank to be embedded anywhere that users can input HTML. This can be used in various ways. It can be a way to make learning materials more interactive. For example you may wish to embed an interactive question in a Book, or a Page, or even a Text and media area (formerly known as Label).

Of course, questions can also be embedded in a Lesson, as shown in https://dynamiccourseware.org/course/view.php?id=90&section=6➚.

Thanks for your suggestion, Dominique, but...

  • The OP's question was: "Is it possible to create embedded quiz page inside the lesson?"; to which I answered that that was not possible.
  • You have changed this query to "Is it possible to embed a question in a Lesson?"; actually this should more accurately worded "Is it possible to embed a question from the (Quiz) question bank in a Lesson".
  • You write "The "Embed questions filter" allows questions from the question bank to be embedded anywhere that users can input HTML." This is correct, but there are 2 provisos:
    • you need to install 2 plugins and to use the Atto text editor;
    • unlike e.g. MCQ or True/false questions proper to the Lesson activity, questions from the question bank thus embedded in a Lesson Content page are "static", not dynamic; this means that answering such questions does not make the student stay on the current page (if they provide a wrong answer) or move forward (if they provide a correct answer);
    • this rather defeats the purpose of Lesson navigaton, don't you think?

Indeed, Kamol probably didn't install the Embed question atto button plugin➚, which would explain why he doesn't see how to embed a question.

Thank you for your clarification which is accurate and useful, among other things on the dynamic aspect of questions in a Lesson.
