We have a course with 10 'modules' in it (10 topics with a quiz at the end of each topic). Students need to pass 5 modules in order to pass the course. Is it possible to set the gradebook to only give a total once a minimum of 5 quizzes have been taken?

You should be able to create a calculation for the category that only provides a grade if there is a grade for each activity.
