Safe Exam Browser (SEB) and Single Sign On

Safe Exam Browser (SEB) and Single Sign On

Hi There,

We are using Moodle 3.9.4 and are attempting to set up the use of SEB for exam condition quizzes.

The SEB browser seems to work just fine - except for one very big problem.

It doesn't work with our o365 single sign on. There is no possibility for manual  sign on using the sign in form. It is all done through the OpenIDConnect and synched with our o365 for authentication.

So, does this mean SEB is a wash for us, or is there a way around this (a way that doesn't involved issuing a second, manual account to everyone)?

Has anyone else got the safe exam browser working with a single sign on type authentication?

Thanks very much for your time,

Kathy smile

We fixed this issue. There was an old version of SEB on the PC and when the newest version was downloaded, the SEB started working with single sign on.
