Does anyone have any experience of embedding WIRIS Quiz questions using the OU's embedded question plugin? The WIRIS questions I have tried render correctly but submiting and answer produces a heap of error messages!

Many thanks for any help you can offer.

Have you tried asking the WIRIS people, they seem very smart. If you get a response please let us know as it sounds like a good idea.

Hi Marcus, Yes they are "on the case." Yes they are pretty good and can be really helpful. Sometimes however I raise issues that are not so high on their development plan so solutions can sometimes take a while. I'll post again if I make any progress. Dave

The STACK question type is the ultimate Maths question type in terms of raw power, have you looked at that?

Hi Marcus, Yes I've been aware of STACK for a while, but I've only started to take more interest since I joined moodle.itemspro.eu. I also discovered jsxgraph there, which is also very interesting. My impression of both is that they are powerful but not particularly user friendly. Maybe I'm wrong.

Regarding STACK, my Moodle provider does not provide a MAXIMA pool server which I understand is required. I've no idea as yet how to link to a MAXIMA pool service, if that is possible or how to go about it. Perhaps I'll explore further when I have time. Best wishes Dave
