Hello, Is there any settings for disabling re-attempt wait until the teacher review previews attempts of the student even quiz has a number of attempts allowed?

Normally, Students able to multiple attempts exam quiz duration time. However, a number of different attempts can be confusion teachers. Students are still able to submit assessments while the previous assessment is being reviewed. The student should not be able to submit while the previous assessment is still pending.

This opition does not exist.

There is a possible work-around, which would be more effort:

  1. Initially create the quiz to only allow one attempt.
  2. Whenever you grade a student's attempt, then also go to Quiz settings -> User overrides, and allow this student one additional attempt.
It would be possible to develop a better solution by creating a new quiz access rule plugin. A rule could add an option to the quiz to only allow a new attempt to be started once the previous attempt had been graded.
