This can be a frustrating Anti-Cheating tool when you want to sit down and bust out a common discussion assignment where you must make a post and then reply to two peers. It would be nice if there was a way to see exactly how long I would need to wait before viewing other posts.
I know there is a green banner that tells you how long you have to edit but as soon as that banner goes away it doesn't seem like there is another way to tell. In a better world we would be able to verify we are done editing and then see replies immediately...
For a more simple quality of life improvement maybe add a bit of text that says:
"You will be able to see this reply at [time] on [date]." next to "Show Parent"
