I appologize. I am new to Moodle and to the forum. I am running Moodle 3.9 on a Linux server that is hosted remotely. When I try to import an activity from on class to another class I get the error, error/xml_parsing_error. I click on the "more information about this error" link but the page that comes up simply says there is no information about this error yet. It only seems to happen when I am trying to copy activities that contain non-english characters. When I run the system test I see "The current setup of MySQL or MariaDB is using 'utf8'. "
Is this my problem? If so, could someone point me to where to go to fix this?
