Changing user roles using flat file/ csv upload

Hi!

I created a custom role for non-editing-student and a set of students need to be changed to this role from their current student role.

The CSV upload works fine but adds the role without deleting the old role.

On the Flat File method, I think it will unenrol the student completely. So will the CSV upload restore the enrolment (in the new role) if I do the CSV upload after unenrolment?

Yes, if the student is not enrolled, then a csv upload will create the enrollment with whatever role you tell it to.

I was looking for a change of role for an existing enrollment, not a new one. Any way of doing it?
