How can I inform every member about the schedule of the course?

I would like to inform every members of the course if there is any meeting or news by using the site or send them email in the name of administrator or the facilitator

I use the news forum in my courses for this purpose. Just make it so that all members are subscribed and they will bet email of anything you post there. Also, the Quick Mail block is an excellent feature to allow you to send email to all course or site users.
