I would like to know how to assign password to the course so only people who knows the password can enrole the course Please give some idea Nith

You can set a course enrolment key (password) on the course settings page.

I went to the course, click on setting then type the passward on the ID Number block after that i save the changed. But when new member enter the coure they can enroll it without knowing the password.

I want computer to ask for the password when new member want to enroll any  course that have password. I will be greatly benifit from your advise.

Type something in the "enrolment key" area in the course settings. This is not the "course ID".  Look further down the page.

Anyone new who wants to enter the course will be asked for the key the first time they access it. You can change the key at anytime, if needed.
