Welcome to Moodle Forums, Ideally, just writing you are new to this, it'll be much helpful if you can tell why you want to start moodle? are you given task or just trying it yourself? How much experience of using LMS or any other related you have?

Try doing things yourself first, if you cannot manage to find answer for something, community is all in for help, but do not expect spoon feeding.
Usman is quite right Ritu, the absolute best way of learning Moodle is just to sit and play. What happens if I do this? is the most important question to ask. In the meantime, you might want to have a read of this Moodle Doc. It will open in a new tab and give you a starting point. If you have no experience with an LMS, or Moodle, then you must learn the difference between what questions do you need to ask and what questions you only think you need to ask. A lot of the time you will find you are pushing against an open door, so if you find a difficulty, step back and look at from a different perspective. So relax and enjoy the challenge....
