I'm delivering a couple of courses using Moodle.
Does anyone here know of plugins or third party software that can automate the sending different emails (or moodle messages) to students based on whether they have accessed the course recently, completed tasks etc.
Currently I extract this info from Moodle and manually send customised messages to disengaged students, students who are just beginning, encouragement messages to students who are nearing completion etc. it has massively increased engagement, satisfaction and completion rates. I figure there must be a way to automate this.
