Video not playing in quiz - moodle sandbox

Hello, I have been given access to moodle sandbox for developing some mathematical quiz. I did a quiz and uploaded a video for incorrect answers. After the participant have completed and submitted the quiz, the video appear if the answer is incorrect. However it does not play. I have converted it in several supporting formats (MP4, AVI, MOV, 3 GP, WEBM….etc.). as per the moodle documentation and uploaded it again and again. Still it does not play. Attached are some screen shots

I do not want to use youtube to host the videos. I can certainly create a youtube channel for my videos and simply link it. But I do not want to do that.

Would anyone be able to help / offer me some advice.

DId you check the browser console ?

is it showing some error ?

Hello, Thanks for replying,

I tried on chrome and firefox both, still not playing  The browser is up to date I even tried on different PCs

Anything else that I could do ?

Hello, Thanks for the useful info.

attached are the screen shots showing how I access the sandbox. I work in an educational institution and I have been given access. When I click on the filters under course administration, all the  3 filters are on ?


Should I contact my internal administrator person (the person who gave me access) ?

Search for manage media players in admin search and check for video player. is it there ?

There is problem with your video. Check the attached error which i have received when i have used your video in quiz feedback.

Hello Guys,

I'm Back. Thanks for previous help. I will use youtube to host videos.

I'm now confronted with a new issue and need your help and advice. I'm using Latex coding in Moodle quiz to display mathematical questions, such as powers (Indices ) and so on. However, by following the moodle documentation on Tex, I am having the display in center and its leaving lots of spaces. Screen shot Below.

I noticed that moodle uses double dollar sign $$ and not only one ?

Any one can help / advice on how I can everything  shifted to the left and reduce the space between the answer choices A,B,C and D ??
