Hello,

If someone took a course, printed a certificate ( ie in 2017) then this year (2018) take it again.. why when printing the certificates, it prints 2017 instead of 2018?  2018 the grade is higher

It is dependent on what date you have set in the certificate settings.

Are you using course completion? Did it reset for the new year?  If not...is the date set to completion date rather than current date?  What elements did you include?  Is it possible one of the elements specifically says 2017?

I am curious about this one as well. We have users who have taken a course and completed it it in 2017 (date on certificate), and when they go to take the course again in 2018, the date of their certificate of completion still shows the 2017 date. Is there a way to have it update to the most recent completion date on the certificate?

Also, there are times when the user will complete a course, but the date on the certificate is showing not the activity completion date as set up, but a completed different date. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Thank you!

Is it the same course?  The same certificate?  Is it possible they aren't getting a new certificate but the original?
