There is an issue were the forum rating dropdown is showing for some instructors but not others.
Both instructors both have adequate permission to rate forums in the forums settings.
Any ideas what could be checked, or why this is happening?
Check the "To" date for Ratings and whether "Restrict ratings" is checked. When students post after the due date, they cannot be rated.
If someone doesn't set the correct date, it can be changed anytime.
In my courses, what I like to do is to tell students that they must post before midnight. Then, I set the "To" date to 5 minutes into the next day. If I ever see the inability to rate a student's post, I know that they posted too late.
