Hi everyone,

I am from South Africa and I am having a bit of a challenge.

I am not an moodle admin user but I do have some admin rights.

Question:

I have a V_1.0 and a V_2.0 of the same e-courseware module. ( See attached).  I want a user to complete V_1.0 and then V_2.0 would also be marked as completed without the user having to access it.

I want this functionality as the V_1.0 will be in english and V_2.0 in another language.  I do not want the user to complete V_2.0 if he/she completed V_1.0 already.

Any help and suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi Henk,

How about adding restricted access rules to both of them? 

If you also click the 'eye' icon next to the restrict access rule, it will be hidden from view for the students. This way the views will be:

No activity completed ==> both visible

V1.0 completed ==> V2.0 hidden from view

V2.0 completed ==> V1.0 hidden from view

A third activity could be restricted in the sense that students would have to have completed either V1.0 or V2.0 by adding Access restriction Rule 1 or Rule 2.
