Record not saved

Hello,

We just updated our moodle with the 3.1 version and last versions of plugins. But we have some problems with PoddLL which is no longer free. We followed the procedure to get the key and added it in the configuration.

Then we use the poodLL plugin to do a record in TinyMCE. We arrive to "upload" it and get the generated link but when we save, moodle works and we finally get a 504 Gateway Timeout error, the change is not visible and the file is not created.

We tested with our server and also with the default server (tokyo.poodll.com) with the same results.

Informations about our configuration:

- moodle version 3.1.3

- PoodLL filter version 3.0.21

- PoodLL anywhere (TinyMCE) version 3.0.1

Thanks for any help and sorry if my english is a little rough.

Anthony

Hi,

We also ran into a bit of trouble with Poodll 3 with our Moodle 3.2.2 (installed in a secured site).

First, the Atto editor doesn't seems to fully recognize the PoodLL Anywhere plugin (ver. 2016112701)...  I can't record video, take photos or draw on the whiteboard (no icons on the toolbar). Also, the widgets don't work at all. I can only record my voice so that tells me the plugin is working somehow, but partially. When I tried it in Moodle 3.1.3, everything worked just fine.

Second, the PoodLL Anywhere plugin seems to work fine with TinyMCE (ver. 2016081402), but I still can't get my camera to work with my iMac at work. I tried with a windows laptop and only the photos and voice recording work. Still no video recording possible...

I really don't know what is going on. If someone had a similar problem, any help would be greatly appreciated. For now, I'll try to install Poodll 3 in another secured environnement in order to test everything again, but I hope someone can help me with this.

Thanks and cheers smile

Melvin

Ok, I fixed most of my problems by just reinstalling the plugins, but I still can't record with my camera (photos work). For some reason, when I click on the record icon, there's no feed (just a grey screen). Is this hardware related ? I have an iMac (late 2013).

Hi Anthony,

What are you trying to record, audio or video?

And do you know if it is the Flash recorder or the HTML5 recorder that you are using?

Does the same problem occur if you use Atto?

It might be better if you post questions like this at https://poodll.com/contact and attach your support info file.

site admin -> plugins -> filters -> poodll -> support info
