Can I see all versions of a paper a student has resubmitted?

Hi all,

I will be setting up a Moodle for the first time (my school uses V2.5), and I was wondering if, when a student resubmits something, I will be able to see past versions of the paper he/she has submitted.

Edit: To clarify, even if I can see that the student has resubmitted due to email alert, can I alsoaccess past versions of their submittances?

One way I think you can achieve this is by changing the assignment Submission settings to "Attempts Reopened Automatically until Pass" -- then every time a student submits a "new attempt" then you can see a previous Attempts history (grade, date, downloadable file, and feedback) at the bottom of the child's individual grading screen.
