When marking assignments online, our version of Moodle 3.1 automatically displays the pdf viewer. Often, we do not have students submit pdfs but rather text using Moodle. The problem is that the pdf viewer takes up about 70% of the monitor space and makes it difficult to read the students text as well as cramping the feedback. Is there a way to remove or at least reduce the size of the pdf viewer when correcting online assignments?

I notice these features but they do not work when I click on them. Maybe there is something wrong with my browser?
