"Restricted access" for label with embedded videos does not work

Hi there,

I was creating a course (with the latest version of moodle) and I embedded a video from vimeo using a label and iframe right at the course page.  It worked fine so far but if I try to restrict the access to the video it gets only covered with a grey layer BUT somehow I am still able to click the play/stop buttons under this layer, so I'm still able to play the video. Is there any solution for this special case to prevent the player doing this as I don't want to put the video on an extra page and I need to resctrict the access? See below.

Have you checked as a student, rather than with your own account?
Can be advisable to log in as a real/dummy student rather than using the 'switch role to'

Yes, I did. It does not work. I also logged in as a student just to make sure... But I still was able to access those elements.

Your label is not hidden - you need to go back to the Restrict access setting and click the 'eye' to hide it.

Thank you Mary.

My goal was not to hide anything of the existing content so users get the right overview about the tasks they need to work through. Anyways, I assume it has to do with problems of fully deactivating this label element. I also encountered today, that if I only include a link to a youtube video via an label and set the access as restricted, it still can be clicked and played. I assume it's not supposed to be in this way, so maybe somebody might want to have look at it.
