Every nowa d then there is an opportunity to tweak Moodle to give huge benefit from a small adjustment. James has a proposal to alter the ability to customise the view of email that we see as notifications. I can see immediately that I'd like some of this functionality.
BUT: as usual, the devil is in the detail. Please, some of you with some good background in Moodle, renderers, themes, core forum code, and working with students/members of courses. Have a look, have a think and post on the tracker. (Gareth, Mary, Mary, Mary, Sam ??? and others)

I'd encourage some thought about this as this has some good potential. I must admit it would be sad to have had a few years of the same format and over 100,000 notifications from Moodle.org to have to get used to a new option.
