Videos with Time Transcript

Hi:

Does anyone know if Moodle supports "Video with Time Transcript"?

Youtube will create a transcript file (.srt file) automatically, which will need a fair bit of editing bout at least it is timed with the video.  The move thing is that the transcript scrolls to the right of video window and you can click anywhere in the transcript and the video will go to that point.  It's a great feature and I'd love to be able to use it in Moodle.

Any Thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I don't know.  It might depend upon the player.  I am not sure how Moodle decides which player to use, or if it relies upon your browser's player.  Let see what others think.

Hi Sean,

Do you have a link to one so I can see exactly what "scrolls to the right of video window" is supposed to look like. I've tried searching but all I'm finding is closed captioning across the bottom of the video. CC across the bottom does work in Moodle.
