Copying Badges & Badge set up into new course shells

Hi,

My moodle administrators have not been able to copy my badges and badge set up from one course to another. Has anyone does this successfully?

The college is using v2.6.

This would be very useful - I understand that badges do have to be different - but if they can be inculded in course backup/restores, it would make the process much simpler - rather than having to recreate nearly identical badges in course copies.
