Lock some activities so that they can't be changed by teachers

Hi,

I'm trying to find a way to "lock" some activities in a course, so that a user with a role like teacher can't delete or modify them. Those activities are the backbone of a course that should never be changed.

I've searched in the "Assign roles" stuff, but when I give a student role to my teachers, they keep their permissions and can still change or delete those activities.

Is there any way to do this ?

Turn on editing, access the activity in question, then in the Settings block click Permissions under the activity's heading.  All permissions related to the activity are displayed and you can remove the necessary permissions for the teacher role on that activity.  Lather, rinse, and repeat for all necessary activities.
