Upgrading to 2.6 - opcache.enable

Hi all

I've had a problem upgrading to Moodle 2.6. The php_setting apparently needs changing with opcache.enable. Status is 'Check' and it won't go past this if I try to continue. This Moodle is on a shared host running php 5.3 and they don't want to enable opcache as they feel it will have detrimental effects on other users of the server.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Greg

It WILL go past this (or certainly should) - it's only an advisory. Until you get to PHP 5.5 you can ignore the warning and/or use a compatible accelerator (e.g. APC)

Thanks Howard - that's what I expected it to do and I tried it over and over but did not get a 'Continue' button - only a reload option.  After seeing your post, I thought I'll give it one more try - and of course it works!  Thanks for taking the time to reply anyway.
