Good morning

I was wondering if it is possible to have a web page, that I have created within a block, locked with password so access is only avaiable for certain users.

Can I assign people individually to a Topic/block that I have created 

I don't think the url password process would apply here

Why not set up a course with the information in and link to it from the block? Then you can control everything from the course settings like you normally do?

that will work I belive - I'm awaiting my organisation to upgrade from Moodle 1.9 to 2.5 - then will be able to achieve this

Hi Paul,

As you wanted a password protected page, the idea would be to create the web page as a normal web page somewhere in your server, and protect it; in the block you would just leave the URL.
