Getting weird anonymous account created in one of our Moodle sites

Hello,

In one of our Moodle sites, we have anonymous accounts, all following the same pattern:

anonfirstname1 anonlastname1 anon1@doesntexist.com Perth Australie

They are registered as manual accounts. Could it come from a course backup that had these user data in it or are we attacked?

Those accounts are a result of creating a course backup with anonymized user data and then restoring it. Please see the documentation Course backup for further details.

Does this mean that the original users aren't link to the course any more?
