How can I get rid of the horizontal scroll bar that shows up within the browser when I'm viewing a gradebook? Currently when I enter the gradebook there is the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the gradebook table which is fine, but there is also a scroll bar at the bottom of the browser that scroll to never never land. It's confusing my faculty and is somewhat of a nuisance.

Try removing .pagelayout-admin .no-overflow, from the above CSS which you will find in the aardvark_postit/style/aardvark_core.css
Removed with no results, still have the scroll bar at the bottom of the browser.
Dont forget to purge all caches or turn theme designer mode on when making changes to css
I have theme designer mode turned on and purged all the cache to be safe and still the same thing.
Come to think of it I think the code is in BASE theme and not in the Postit theme itself.

I have a little similar issue and I hope you can guide me in correct direction. I have a Moodle installation of version 4+ with a customized Formfactor theme. I have a single horizontal scroll bar in gradebook as shown in the image in original post (upper one) but the problem is it scrolls names column too. So, when I scroll, the names of the students disappear.
Any suggestion to resolve this????

Yes you need to set Static Students in the Admin setting for the Gradebook.

It mentions Static Student in the Table of Contents at the start of that page.
This is the path you need to take in Moodle
Site Administration > Grades > Report settings > Grader report

Might try removing the blocks from your left-hand side for all grader reports. We don't use the grader report. We use LAE Grader which doesn't have this problem.
