Exporting Questions to Respondus

Hello,

Looking for some suggestions on how to export questions from Moodle 1.911 to Respondus.  The questions are stored in a centralized location - main  category level and not in a course.  The courses within this category pull questions from the centralized test bank.

Main category (Questions stored here)

 Course A 

Course B

Course C

I have been able to use the Respondus Moodle personality to access the courses but it does not give me access to the top main category.

Any suggestions?

It's been awhile since I have used Respondus.  I tried it, it seemed to do what it claimed, but not do what I needed done, so I aborted.

Doesn't Respondus have tech support?  You pay for this product (not free, like moodle), and somehow I recall them really having a tech support phone number.

I'm 99% sure you can not do that with Respondus... Respondus pulls a list of courses from a LMS and then pulls quiz/assessment data from quiz's located in a course... Further, I do not believe that Respondus can pull questions from a question bank/pool, only from Quiz's themselves... I could be wrong about that though...

What I would suggest is going to Quiz Admin -> Question Bank -> Export and then export as gift (txt)... Go into Respondus, in the start panel click the button "Import Questions" and locate your txt file exported out from Moodle... 

Give that a try and let us know the results...
