what kind of software methodology is best to Moodle project

Hello,

I am a student, and have a project about Moodle, but i have a problem with choosing software methodology to my project, if does anyone know what is the best software methodology to Moodle, i will be very thankful. In addition, i am thinking to use Rapid prototype methodology, but so far not sure is best for Moodle...

Test Driven. Learn to write phpUnit tests and you will have the basis of a methodology. Either that or JFDI.
