2.4 Weekly Format includes an 8-day week

This was pointed out to me by our registrar who orginally set the starting date wrong for this one course. Normally, our weeks start on Monday, but she accidentally set this one to Sunday. Strangely, one of the weeks ended up with 8 days in it so the last couple of weeks start on Monday... The weeks shown are:

  • Jan 13-19
  • Jan 20-26
  • Jan 27-Feb 2
  • Feb 3-9
  • Feb 10-16
  • Feb 17-23
  • Feb 24-Mar 2
  • Mar 3-10 (this one has 8 days)
  • Mar 11-17
  • mar 18-24

While this isn't a serious problem for us, and seems to only affect this one course, it is still very strange how a weekly format where you can only set the starting date has 9 weeks of 7 days and 1 containing 8.

Well. it may just be that one week has 7 days and 1 hour, because someone has made the assumption that every day contains 24 hours, and that is  not true the day that summer time starts and ends.

That actually makes sense. It would make more sense if the behavior was consistent. When I changed the starting date to Jan 14, then back to Jan 13, the 8-day week went away. Of course, there were both Windows and Moodle updates between the time the courses were originally set and now so perhaps it was resolved in there somewhere.
