Hello ajeet!

Configuring Navigation block settingsYou can add Blocks to particular pages and not include them in other sections. So if you are using the navigation block as an example, the navigation block can be removed from the main page and only made accessible to those enrolled into the courses or to admin only.

You can set the Where this block appears by going to the page you want the block on and adding or removing it accordingly. Then in the "Configuring a Navigation block" section, you can set the block to appear on that page only or through out the site. Like the image to the right.

Steps to change navigation block locatyion
  1. Log into Moodle.
  2. Turn Editing on.
  3. Click the wrench next to the block you want to edit.
  4. In the Where this block appears section, change the setting to one of the following:
  • Any page (Shows the block site wide)
  • Any site administration page (Only shows for the admin)
  • The current site administration page (Only for the current admin page)
Click Save Changes.

Each block can be added or removed from each specific page within the entire Moodle Site. I also have a section on managing moodle blocks that may be beneficial.

If you are refering to a different menu then we will need more info on what menu you are referring to. Hope this helps!

Best Regards,
