Nothing to Display - when I click on View nn Submitted Assignments
When All is selected for First name and Surname - I get the Nothing to Display message
if I select specific letters in First Name or Surname I see the submitted assignments for select students , sort of, I can't actually open any assignments this way...
Please advise.

Hi there. I don't know which version of Moodle you are using but it is possible that this is the problem that has come up several times in the last few years. If you do a search on these forums for "nothing todisplay assignments" or similar you will find people with the same problem. Someone found a fix that worked but involves editing the code on the server. If you look at the comments on this tracker you will find it: MDL-25315
