We use Remote-Learner.net as a hosting provider for our Moodle system. One of our schools has Internet Bandwidth limitations so i am researching a way to host thelecture presentations on the schools local LAN to allow the students to download the lectures locally instead of from the server that is hosted remotely.
One option was having the faculty create links to the local server from within their course but this is proving to be too difficult for them. Does anyone know of a Local Caching Module or something along those lines that would allow the faculty member to use the regualr Upload files option but would store the file on the Local LAN share instead of on the remote Moodle server?
Server is hosted by remote-learner.net and is Ver 2.2
